OMT: How it Works
OMT works as web-service with a wide range of functions and simple graphical user interface. Moreover, the possibility to use the internet browsers “Internet Explorer”, “Mozilla Firefox”, “Opera”, “Google Chrome”, and “Apple Safari” is provided.
OMT supports the various user interface languages.
With help of Global Positioning System, GPS tracker mounted on the mobile object determines the exact coordinates of its location and sends these data to the OMT server via channels of GPRS network.
OMT server receives data from GPS trackers, processes them and maps onto the electronic map. OMT service is available for any computer or terminal connected to the Internet. For a start, you just need to login into the OMT server, by entering your login and password.
There will be no need to install any optional equipment and software in order to use OMT. All you need is a computer connected to the Internet, an account on our server, and GPS tracker.
OMT allows you to track the movement of the object on the electronic map with its speed, current coordinates, and other parameters specified in a real time mode.
OMT saves the events history concerning every vehicle in database for a long period and upon the request of users provides various reports allowing performing the analysis of any movement parameter of objects to be controlled. OMT supports the various web-service operations languages.
OMT is compatible with various types of permanently widening range of GPS trackers.
OMT supports the display of various alarm messages transferred by devices connected to the system:
• alarm at the touch of SOS button;
• alarm in the event of overspeeding;
• alarm for separate geozones;
• carjacking attempt and others.
Apart from situation display on OMT server, system allows the client to receive SMS with coordinates of object location in the event of alarm situation via mobile phone. Also, the client itself may send SMS to the tracker and receive an answer in the form of SMS containing current coordinates of object location. Moreover, the client may receive the alarm and informative messages by e-mail.
OMT allows the client to indicate the zone of any size (geozone) right on the electronic map. By predetermining the parameters prohibiting the object exit outside of the geozone the client will receive the alarm message as soon as the object exits outside of the allowed zone. Also, the client may predetermine the parameters, which allow controlling the appearance of the object in the specified zone, e. g. its arrival at the destination point.
There are many additional options including listening of sound environment in the object location zone, conversation with the object and others.
