ONLINE - MOBILE TRACKING

GPS  GATE

Terminology

OMT system (Online Mobile Tracking system) is universal system for traffic route control provided for vehicle, cargo and other mobile object (including humans and animals) movement as well as situation monitoring within vehicles.

OMT Client is an organisation, company or private person settled a contract for delivery of OMT services. Under the contract, the Client may receive the information on its objects in a real time mode. Information is transferred via GSM/GPRS/Internet from OMT server to the personal computer, the mobile phone or other network device.

Object is vehicle, cargo, person or animal tracked.

GPS tracker is device to be mounted on the Object observed, which ensures information transfer (coordinates, movement speed, voice data, and others) via GSM/GPRS to the OMT server and Client’s mobile phones.

OMT server is a highly reliable application-specific computer system connected to fast data transfer paths and protected against any unfavourable factor and action.

Real time is a running mode allowing the OMT Client to control the Object, by using remote computer. Data transfer delay does not exceed data transfer time via GSM/GPRS/Internet from GPS tracker and OMT server.

History – running mode allowing the OMT client to receive the information from remote computer relating Object movement, stops and other parameters of Object movement from the OMT server database for the time period interested in.

Alarms – system function allowing the OMT Client to receive out-of-band messages relating all abnormal situations in the Object (e. g. overspeeding, security alarm operation, pressing the alarm button and others).

Geozone – system function allowing the OMT Client to set boundaries in the server map and control the Object exit out of the zone specified as well as the Object entry in the zone (e. g. its arrival at the destination point).
